In creating my version of a "techonomy," I realized that most of the technology I have integrated into my lessons in the past has not been reaching the higher-order thinking skills from Bloom's Taxonomy. Although it is important to teach students how to use technology to get information, such as researching information on the Internet, it is important to implement activites that require higher-order thinking skills into technology lessons as well. In my version of a"Techonomy," I have made notes of several examples of activities that can integrate technology while using higher-order thinking skills so that our students are growing as learners.
